2025 OMSCS Conference Resource Fair Information

Thank you for participating in the 2025 OMSCS Resource Fair! We’re excited for you to engage with our OMSCS students and alumni, and we know that they are looking forward to meeting with you. In preparation for the event, we encourage you to read through the information below.

Resource Fair Details

Where: Global Learning Center (81 4th St NW, Atlanta, GA 30332), Rooms 330-331. Upon arrival, first check-in at the registration desk outside Room 236.

When: Tuesday, April 29, 9:30-11:45 a.m. Set-up begins at 9:00 a.m.

Parking: There is a parking garage adjacent to the Global Learning Center (770 Spring St NW, Atlanta, GA 30332). You'll take a ticket upon entering the garage—bring this ticket with you to the registration desk to obtain your validation sticker. The Global Learning Center is accessible directly from the 2nd floor of the parking garage. You can find additional travel information on the Travel and Accommodations page of our website.

Timeline

9:00 a.m.Arrive at the parking deck
9:00 – 9:30 a.m.Unloading and setup
9:30 a.m.Resource Fair begins!
11:45 a.m.Resource Fair ends
11:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.Table breakdown and loading
12:15 – 1:05 p.m.Lunch

What Will Be Provided? 

  • 6-foot rectangular table for you to set up your materials
  • Power outlets
  • Wifi will be available through the GT Visitor network

What Should I Bring? 

We recommend bringing swag/handouts (we will have ~150 attendees). You are welcome to bring a laptop or other device. You are also welcome to bring your own table linen for the 6-foot table. You may consider having QR codes that attendees can scan to view things such as your website, resources, etc. If you’re wondering about bringing a specific item, reach out to Hannah Moon (hannah.moon@cc.gatech.edu).

Food and Drink 

Continental breakfast will be served starting at 8:00 am. Lunch will be provided after the fair starting at noon.

Snacks, coffee, tea, and drinks will be available all-day in the 2nd floor common area.

For all food and drink, we have done our best to accommodate those with dietary restrictions including: vegetarian; vegan; gluten-free; no red meat; nut allergies; and seafood allergies.

Dress Code

We have no strict dress code for the conference, so please wear what makes you feel most comfortable!

Photography  

We will have a photographer documenting the conference! By attending the conference, you consent to being photographed and to Georgia Tech potentially using these pictures, and you release Georgia Tech from any liability resulting from such usage.
