2025 OMSCS Conference Presenter Information

Next Steps

By Monday, March 3 at 11:59 p.m. ET:

  • Register to attend the conference in person. Registration will open on Monday, January 27. Click here to register. The registration fee is waived for presenters, so you do not need to pay anything. After completing the registration form, you will receive an email with a link to pay for your registration; please ignore this link.
  • Provide the following information using the form link that was emailed to you (if you did not receive a link, email OMSCS-Conf@groups.gatech.edu). Note that you must provide this information for each of your presentations; you should receive separate links for each presentation:
    • Your name as you would like it to appear in the conference agenda.*
    • Your updated presentation title and abstract, as you would like them to appear in the conference agenda. Abstracts must be no more than 250 words.*
    • Any technical support you will need beyond what is already provided (see "What Will Be Provided?" below).*
    • A brief (75 words or less) bio of yourself to be included in the conference agenda.
    • A photo of yourself to be included in the conference agenda. Your photo will be edited to be a square (equal width and height) if it is not already. The higher the resolution, the better!
    • [Workshop presenters only] The maximum number of attendees your workshop can support, and the ideal number of attendees.*

By Monday, April 7 at 11:59 p.m. ET:

Provide your digital presentation materials (such as your slideshow, or anything else you'll be using to present). Use the Dropbox link that was emailed to you to upload your materials. If you don't have the link, or you experience uploading issues, email OMSCS-Conf@groups.gatech.edu.

Prior to the Conference

  • If you're leading a workshop, we'll provide you with contact information for the people registered for your workshop. We encourage you to reach out to them ~1 week prior to the conference to remind them about your workshop, what to bring, and any other important details.
  • If you're moderating a panel, we'll connect you with the panelists ~1 week before the conference and share with them your outline and questions.
  • If you're a panelist, we'll connect you with the panel moderator and other panelists ~1 week before the conference. Be sure to look over the questions the moderator has put together prior to the panel.
