CSE Leadership Transition Comes as School Continues Rapid Growth

Georgia Tech’s School of Computational Science and Engineering (CSE) has undergone remarkable expansion in recent years, doubling its faculty, broadening its programs and curriculum, and strengthening its reputation as a leading research hub.

Now, as Professor Edmond Chow prepares to teach at Georgia Tech-Europe for the 2026-2027 academic year, OMSCS Professor Polo Chau is stepping into the role of associate chair to help guide the School’s next phase of growth.
