AI Advancement Shifts the Game in Favor of Defense Over Cyberattacks

Microsoft Corporate Vice President of Security and OMSCS instructor Taesoo Kim projected that AI advancement will shift the long-standing attacker advantage in cybersecurity toward a defender advantage over the long term. He revealed that Microsoft's AI-powered vulnerability detection system MDASH identified 66% of all Windows vulnerabilities discovered last year within just four months of deployment.
