What do you do professionally?
I'm a software engineer and I have past experience at ByteDance and Millennium Management LLC. And I will join Bloomberg after my graduation.
Why do you TA for OMSCS?
I'm a current TA for CS 6262: Network Security, and I TA because I enjoy sharing knowledge with others. The OMSCS program is inclusive, and I get a lot of chances to talk to people with different backgrounds.
What is your advice for future OMSCS students?
It's very important to utilize the online learning platform (e.g., Piazza, Ed Discussion) to discuss problems with other students. Also, it's rewarding to think about the problem before asking the question.
What's your preferred programming language, and why?
C++, because it is one of the languages that I learned in the very beginning of my career. It's amazing and fast enough to achieve a lot of things.
